The joker vs scared toddler

Managed to invite myself to see the dark knight with a few people I did not know. The movie was effin awesome, the best superhero movie EVAR, except for a wee little toddler sitting next to me who decided to exercise her vocal chords every time the Joker appeared on screen. Yeah, everybody hates clowns.

Since I didn’t have the guts to complain to her obnoxious popcorn crunching parents I rant here.

Dear obnoxious popcorn crunching parents,

Don’t take your kid to see The Dark knight at  7 PM.

What is the matter with you?

Are you really surprised that she’s  pitching a fit ? It’s gunfire, blood and shouting. She’s crying because she doesn’t understand why she has to stay up and watch people being killed over and over and over again when all she wants is to go home and lie in her bed and dream about being Dora the Explorer.
The next time you want to see grown up movies, get a dvd player or a good babysitter.

P.S. Next time remember, you’re in a theater and not a restaurant, so you might want to cut down on the popcorn, puffs and vada pavs
